Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock became part of Baptist Health in 1962. The medical center offers comprehensive services delivered in an inviting, less institutionalized setting. The design was based on community research with a focus on patient-centered care. Here are the comprehensive services we offer to our North Little Rock community.
Through seamless treatment and the most advanced heart health services in the state, we give you a level of care no other hospital in Arkansas can match. In fact, our cardiology department has historically set the standard of cardiac care in Arkansas. Our physicians performed the state’s first heart transplant in 1989 and the first total artificial heart transplant in 2017.

Baptist Health North Little Rock is a unique facility where everyone comes together like one big family. From the Administration, Environmental Services, Patient Care techs, Nursing Services, and everything in between, You are not a number, You are a name and a face. Here are some of our team members.
I am a unit supervisor, a wife, mother to five children, and active in my local church. My career as a nurse began in 1996, after graduating from Baptist School of Nursing. 2A is a unique floor in itself. We provide care for a variety of patient types, including pediatric patients, patients who need certain cardiac drips, continuous bi-pap, high flow oxygen and many more. 2A staff learn to provide for all kinds of diagnosis because we take care of a lot. It's a great experience to learn and become skilled in many specialties. The culture of 2A is one of family, teamwork and kindness. We strive to give our patients the best possible care and a team approach gives them everything they need plus more. Of course, cultures grow and evolve with new faces and new processes but our goal will always be to learn as much as we can and always provide amazing care. 2A is known for outstanding Quality and Safety. We have gone up to 4 years without Cauti or Clabsi. That is a huge feat. We strive for excellence and search for excellent people to come join our team.
My name is Carl Jaglal (husband and father of 4) and the Nurse Manager for 3B, the Med-Surg Resource Team and IHA PCTs. 3B is a fast paced Surgical Unit, specialized in caring for patients with Total Joint Replacement, General Surgery and Oncology patients requiring chemotherapy. I have been with the BH family since 1991, in part due to our value on being a faith based facility while maintaining a family atmosphere. I have been afforded both personal and professional growth throughout my career that makes for an exciting career. I am blessed to have some of the greatest professionals on my team and to be a part of their collective impact on the patient experience.
Springhill Baptist Women & Children's Unit is wonderful in so many ways! We strive to provide all of our patients a personal experience when they come through our doors. We take pride in the reputation we have built among our community. Our staff members love seeing patients choose us over & over again! One unique quality that sets us apart from many others is being able to give our three different nursing areas one unit to work in.
